Safari Adventure

Hello there everybody, its me Edward again and boy have I found a real gem for you.

I have found a South African safari specializing in accessible travel for disabled people, creating independence, enriched standard of living and travel opportunities for physically challenged people.  Their product covers people with mobility, vision and hearing impairments as well as oxygen users and those requiring kidney dialysis.

Africa is now accessible whether you use a cane, crutches, have a slight limp, use a manual wheelchair or permanently use an electric  chair, they can show you various destinations within Southern Africa, that were never before possible. Whether you dreamed of a safari, or just want to enjoy a relaxing holiday in one of the luxury hotels in Cape Town, they will do their best to ensure an unforgettable experience.

Comfort and safety are the two most important factors for their guests. Inside their safari vehicles they have installed the Unwin Safety System with 2- point harness wheelchair locking device for clients who need to remain seated in their wheelchair.

They have a broad spectrum of options available, from 5-star hotel and lodges to luxury camping safaris , with various destinations in three countries, namely South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. While on safari they make use of large safari tents. Each tent has its own specially adapted en-suite facilities (bucket shower and chemical toilet). The en-suite facilities are an enormous safety feature in the bush environment as there is no reason to exit the tent during the night. There is ample room for  wheelchair maneuverability as well as the bed heights are fixed for easy transfer from the wheelchair.

Tours also include lodges or hotels where applicable as part of their itineraries.

In the event of a medical emergency, as part of their insurance, they are covered with air evacuation in case this is required by any of their clients. In such emergency cases, the clients will be air evacuated to the nearest hospital.

On all of their remote destinations they travel with a satellite phone, which allows them instant contact with medical air-rescue teams should this become necessary.

So there you have have it friends a dream  safari. How much better can it get.  Its a trip I know I don't want to miss.
