S E Unlimited® Travel, opened for business in August of 1993, to help fill the information gap that existed, between the travel industry and the special needs requirements of persons with disabilities who travel.

 

As a person who is physically challenged myself, being a post-polio, who uses a manual wheelchair for all my daily mobility and as an avid traveler, who has visited all 50 states, some 36 other countries, and cruised over 26 times.  We have personally experienced the “Good” the “Bad” and the “Ugly” in travel for a physically challenged person.  As an example the first cruise,  my now business partner and I went on was in 1982, on a cruise ship that was not designed for a wheelchair user.  At that time, no one in the travel industry was able to provide good and accurate information on wheelchair accessibility on cruise ships, and today the information gap is still as wide.

 

The Cruise travel industry has made some outstanding improvements in making their fleets more wheelchair friendly, but the accessibility information out there is not all correct.  We at S E Unlimited® Travel have created our own, accessibility data base.  Personally inspecting over 50 cruise ships, for wheelchair accessibility.  If we recommend a cruise ship, we know it is accessible, because we have wheeled on the decks and in the staterooms.  The same is true of hotels, resorts, and other attractions we have “Been there and done that”.

 

We can help everyone including those who are physically challenged to have the cruise or Vacation of a life time.
